TS did a live Q&A session for the iHeartRadio program in Los Angeles on Monday, talking about their first-ever Grammy Awards performance, their upcoming album and the top artists on their ultimate dream collaborations, which includes Brad Pitt.
Their latest appearance follows their historic performance at the 2020 Grammy Awards, which "was amazing," the band said. They performed "Seoul Town Road" with Lil Nas X, who they were most surprised to find was not so little, despite his name, and rather very tall, the band explained.
Last November, BTS fans—collectively known as the Army—were outraged the group were snubbed in this year's Grammy Award nominations. RM said Monday: "We'll be really happy if we could be nominated for the next Grammys."
Ariana Grande and Post Malone are among the top picks on the band's collaboration wish list, along with Brad Pitt, perhaps for a future film project, RM described half-jokingly.
The group were recently pictured with Grande backstage at a rehearsal for the Grammy Awards, while they met Post Malone during their appearance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest on December 31. They performed in Times Square and described it as "surreal."
"I couldn't stop thinking about the movie Home Alone," RM said of the experience.
"The background and the winter in New York was all I saw in that movie... it looked really surreal and still can't believe that we've done that. One thing that we were really surprised by was the ball—it was really dropp
